Our Monastery in Rome is called Sts John & Paul's

Stamp - St Paul of Cross

Looking from the Piazza towards the monastery door just above where the red bougainvillea bush reaches up the wall.

At the base of the tower can be seen the white travertine blocks of the ancient Roman Temple on which part of the monastery is built.

The single small window low-down on the tower gives light to the room in which St. Paul of the Cross lived during his last years and where he died on 18th October 1775.

The tower

From the window...

From the window of that small room referred to above.

The red bush and the green ivy drape over the wall of the ramp which leads up to the monastery door. The arched gateway in the centre of the photograph leads into the Park.

Our Founder's Room

Inside Our Founder's room which has been made into a chapel.

On the wall behind the altar is a Mission Cross which Paul had used during his preaching apostolate.
