Pray the Third Glorious Mystery

The Holy Spirit ComesThe Coming of the Holy Spirit

Our Father

"I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever." (John 14,16) - Hail Mary

"The Helper will come -- the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who come from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will speak about me." (John15,26) - Hail Mary

When the day of Pentecost came, all the believers were gathered together in one place. (Acts 2,1) - Hail Mary

Suddenly there was a noise from the sky which sounded like a strong wind blowing, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. (Acts 2,2) - Hail Mary

Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire which spread out and touched each person there. (Acts 2,3) - Hail Mary

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to talk in other languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak. (Acts 2,4) - Hail Mary

There were Jews living in Jerusalem, religious people who had come from every country of the world. When they heard this noise, a large crowd gathered. (Acts 2, 5) - Hail Mary

They were all excited because they heard the believers talking in their own language... Amazed and confused, they kept asking each other, "What does this mean?" (Acts 2,12) - Hail Mary

Then Peter stood up with the other eleven apostles and in a loud voice began to say to the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, listen to me and let me tell you what this means." (Acts 2,14) - Hail Mary

This is what the prophet Joel spoke about: "This is what I will do in the last days, God says: I will pour out my Spirit on everyone." (Acts 2,16) - Hail Mary

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.
