Reflection and some questions

Reflection and Some Questions

You may want to print this meditation for journaling or meditating later on. In any case, turn away from your computer for a few minutes. Just talk to the loving God who has gifted us in such an incredible way.

Let your heart be quiet and listen to the gentle stirring of the Holy Spirit deep within you. You have reflected on our topic. Now stay with the Lord.

  1. Begin by considering that our introduction into the life of the Trinity begins at our baptism.
  2. Belief in the Trinity--One God in Three Persons-- is a keystone of our Christian Faith. Is this belief an integral part of your spirituality?
  3. In the Mass the Church prays to the Father with Jesus, in the Spirit. When you pray, do your pray "to God" or to one or another Person of the Blessed Trinity?
  4. Our Triune God is always present to, with and in us. How do you make this presence real to you?

Concluding Prayer

Blessed Elizabeth of the TrinityO my God, Trinity whom I adore,
help me forget myself entirely so to establish myself in you,
unmovable and peaceful as if my soul were already in eternity.
May nothing be able to trouble my peace or make me leave you.
O my unchanging God, may each minute bring me more deeply
into your mystery.
--Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity
